MOCA, RD.-Presidente Abinader inaugura Centro Regional Virginia Ferreira ITLA en Moca. El presidente Luis Abinader inauguró la tarde de este domingo el Centro Regional Educativo Tecnológico Virginia Ferreira ITLA en esta provincia, que permitirá la formación especializada en tecnología y facilitará oportunidades laborales a los jóvenes de toda la región Norte-Cibao.
El Indotel tuvo en esta obra una inversión superior a los 60 millones de pesos.
Durante el acto, el jefe de Estado estuvo acompañado del presidente del Indotel, Nelson Arroyo, y el rector del ITLA, Omar Méndez.
Méndez manifestó que en este centro de estudios la oferta formativa abarcará diplomados, cursos y talleres en las áreas de desarrollo de software, ciencia de datos, redes de información, ciberseguridad, multimedia, mecatrónica, seguridad informática e idiomas.
"En este innovador centro educativo, tendrán la oportunidad de profundizar en sus conocimientos y desarrollar competencias y habilidades cruciales que les brindarán amplias oportunidades en diversos ámbitos", puntualizó.
De su lado, el presidente del Indotel, Nelson Arroyo, destacó que este recinto del ITLA simboliza el compromiso del gobierno del presidente Abinader con el desarrollo integral del país.
“Hoy celebramos más que la apertura de un centro educativo. Celebramos una visión compartida de un futuro próspero, donde la tecnología se convierte en el catalizador del cambio y el progreso en la región del Cibao”, puntualizó el titular del Indotel.
El nuevo centro cuenta con 7 laboratorios, más de 600 equipos tecnológicos de última generación y una red de servicio de internet de banda ancha de alta velocidad.
Las instalaciones del recinto también contarán con una tienda de libros, biblioteca, espacios deportivos y zonas administrativas, diseñadas para ofrecer una experiencia educativa integral y de calidad.
El centro dispone de una escuela de idiomas, abierta a todos los ciudadanos interesados en fortalecer sus competencias lingüísticas.
Este proyecto se enmarca en la misión que tiene el gobierno dominicano de ampliar el acceso a la educación tecnológica de calidad y de cerrar la brecha digital en República Dominicana.
Estuvieron presentes el senador por Santiago, Eduardo Estrella; la gobernadora de dicha provincia, Rosa Santos, junto con la de Montecristi, Nelsy Cruz; el representante del BID, Manuel Rodríguez Porcel; el alcalde electo de Santiago, Ulises Rodríguez; el gerente general de Edenorte, Andrés Cueto, y el exministro de Salud Pública, Daniel Rivera.
